The term Cryptocurrency has risen this year like anything, and on the other hand, the purchase and selling of the Bitcoins are also increasing in different forms like Debit Cards, ATMs and the form of tethered assets.
Recently, a firm in Singapore named Tangem has started selling Banknotes, or you can say smart Banknotes, why smart banknotes? They are known as smart banknotes because they are not made up of a paper they are hardware storage units with an S3D350A chip which is manufactured by Samsung.
These notes are kind of wallets, not the physical which you use to give an outlet. According to the Tangem, these banknotes are referred by them as uncopiable cold wallets.
As per reports, Tangem stated, “all known attack vectors on hardware and software levels.” It says that years of chip development via credit cards, SIM cards, and ID cards have led to a product secure enough that “cost of hacking a single banknote [is] uneconomical.”
According to coinmarketcap.com, in the Press release, they revealed that these Bitcoins Banknotes are available in denominations of 0.01 and 0.05 BTC and at the current price these equal 94 and 469 USD respectively.
Tangem is headquartered in Zug and has offices in Hong Kong and Singapore. Its research and development centers are in Taiwan, Russia, and Israel. Manufacturing takes place in South Korea and China.
