Rakuten Marketing Named “Best Affiliate Network” at the 2019 International Performance Marketing Awards (IPMAs)


Rakuten Marketing today announced that at this year’s International Performance Marketing Awards (IPMAs), they were named “Best Affiliate Network.” The award noted the strategic international orientation and scope of Rakuten Marketing as well as double-digit growth in the UK. And an expanding global presence as a justification why Rakuten Marketing is “one of the most sought-after marketing channels in the world.” The Rakuten Marketing team won a total of four awards at the London De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms ceremony.

The “Best Affiliate Network” and “Best Team in Performance Marketing” Awards were voted for by the industry, making these two awards particularly prestigious.

In collaboration with AMEX Korea and MATCHESFASHION, both won the “Best Quality Advertising Strategy (APAC)” and the “Best Retail Promotion Awards.” The “Best Performance Marketing Campaign, APAC Award” calls the partnership one of the “most promising performance marketing campaigns in the APAC region.” Also highlighted was the intricate approach of Rakuten Marketing to cross-channel and publisher choice as a key factor in winning. Similarly, the impressive global and cross-channel initiatives of Rakuten Marketing — driving sales through influencer marketing, device focus, and social media strategies in more than 160 countries — impressed the judges for the “Best Retail Campaign” win.
